Cameron Highlands

Monday, May 19th, 2008

Ahh, just go back from my trip from Cameron Highlands. Brr!! KL is so warm.. Help.. Hahaha. I would pretty much say that the only thing that I will miss from this trip is the weather. :P Is there no way to get such weather in KL? Can KL snow for one day please? =/

The trip started of with a drive to Bidor to eat the famous duck noodle. Then it was a drive straight up to Cameron Highlands from Simpang Pulai.

Me and a Golden Beetle

Unfortunately, Googling this beetle returned no concrete answer.. Now was I just scammed by the idoit there?

So, the days at Cameron Highlands were spend mostly moving up and down from the farms to the market place. However, I think I can safely say that the traveling from place to place actually took more time that what was used to spend in all the farms together.. But hell no.. They are actually all close together. Not even from the 1st place to the last place.. The traffic jam.. The indecent parking by the road side shows its ugly head here. Man.. Double parking one side.. Single parking on the other.. Where the hell do you expect the cars to move? Over yours?

Bought a whole bunch of cactus’ back from there too. Spend quite alot on food. Biscuits from Bidor and Ipoh. ‘Yim Kok Kai’ (Salted Chicken) from Ipoh. Our binging session..

1. Duck Noodle
2. Home-made steamboat (All thanks to Mei Yan for making this possible)
3. Breakfast of eggs, beans, toasted bread and bacon (Thanks to Tony and Mei Yan and Wi Khai and whoever took part in the cooking)
4. Strawberry ice cream, strawberry waffle and strawberry milk shake was it?
5. Tai Chow dinner
6. The two mamak suppers!
7. The dim sum at Ipoh

Yummy!! :P

And to everyone who reads this, here’s a rose for you!
